“Q” Form Update

Members who are requested redo or make corrections on prior HOS “Q” forms, as per the FRA the time spent doing so is considered time on duty and can not be considered rest.

As per the FRA the time spent doing “Q” forms must be done while you are on duty and are not to be completed on your personal time.

If you are ordered to make corrections on your forms that time must be shown on your hours of service “Q” forms, and is considered time on duty and does not alleviate you from HOS rules considering rest.

If you are requested to update forms record and send all information to GC Burkert at sburkert@utulocal60.com

He needs;

The time and date you were asked

The assignment working

The supervisor requesting you to complete forms

The total time spent making corrections

If you do not have proper rest to cover your assignment either completing of, or the following day

Q Forms

An update from our GC, please refrain from updating Q forms as per management request, until he gets clarification from the carrier and the FRA on the correct route to proceed. We will keep you updated.
