AT OUR NEXT REGULARLY SCHEDULED MEETING ON SUNDAY, OCTOBER 6, 2019 AT 10:00 A.M. WE WILL BE HOLDING THE NOMINATIONS FOR LEGISLATIVE REPRESENTATIVE, ALTERNATE LEGISLATIVE REPRESENTATIVE, AND THE QUESTION REGARDING THE SUPPLEMENTAL EXTRA LIST TO CHANGE THE CONTRACT. Remember, all ballots must be at the Linden, N.J. post office the morning of Saturday, February 9, 2019 by 9:00 a.m. No ballots will be accepted at the meeting that day. THE PREPARATION OF THE BALLOTS HAS BEEN COMPLETED. IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE YOUR PACKAGE OR IF THERE IS ANYTHING MISSING BY THE END OF DAY FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 10TH, 2017 PLEASE EMAIL THE OFFICE SECRETARY ERICA MITCHELL AT EMITCHELL@UTULOCAL60.COM OR CALL HER AT 973-527-7018.

 

THE PACKAGE CONTAINS A STAMPED ADDRESSED ENVELOPE, BALLOT INSTRUCTIONS, BALLOT, AND “A” ENVELOPE. PLEASE PLACE THE COMPLETED BALLOT MARKED WITH YOUR CHOICE OF CANDIDATE INSIDE OF THE “A” ENVELOPE, SEAL AND PLACE INSIDE OF THE STAMPED RETURN ENVELOPE. BE SURE TO INCLUDE YOUR NAME AND RETURN ADDRESS ON THE RETURN ENVELOPE ONLY. THIS IS HOW YOUR ELEGIBILITY WILL BE VERIFIED AS A CURRENT DUES PAYING MEMBER. 2015 Mileage Rate Increased to 57.5 cents per mile

Dear Sisters and Brothers:

The Internal Revenue Service issued the 2015 standard mileage rates used to calculate the deductible costs of operating an automobile for business.  Beginning on January 1, 2015 the standard rates for the use of a car will be 57.5 cents per mile for business miles driven.

Therefore, I am authorizing automobile mileage allowance consistent with the maximum rate set by the Internal Revenue Service (Notice 2014-79 in IRB 2014-53), effective January 1, 2015.  The automobile rate will be increased by one and one-half cent, from 56 cents per mile to 57.5 cents per mile.
