The COVID-19 pandemic continues to challenge our nation and has impacted us in many ways. The pandemic has brought about many new issues to the rail industry as it tries to adjust to the ever changing landscape. The C3RS program has received several close call incident reports that mention the COVID-19 pandemic as a contributing factor. NASA and the C3RS program has put together the following summary that provides examples of how the pandemic is affecting our nation’s railroad workers.
